Description

Job Summary: Cambridge, Massachusetts Respiratory Therapy (Pediatric)
The Director of Pulmonary Services is responsible for planning, directing, and managing comprehensive respiratory services, including Respiratory Care, pulmonary function testing (PFT) lab, blood gas lab, sleep lab, and cardiopulmonary rehab. This leadership role ensures high-quality respiratory care delivery across multiple age groups while maintaining compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and best practices. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday (MF), 8-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Graduate of an Accredited School of Respiratory Care; Bachelors Degree preferred; Current Massachusetts state respiratory license; Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred; strong background in acute care and critical care; experience with pulmonary function testing, blood gas accreditation, and polysomnography; experience with cardiopulmonary rehab and EEGs; knowledge of neonatal respiratory care preferred; ability to travel between three sites as needed
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); knowledge of neonatal respiratory care
  • Additional Information: Provides comprehensive respiratory services under the medical direction of the pulmonary department, including administering medical gases, performing arterial blood gas analysis, managing airways, and conducting pulmonary function tests.
