Description

Requirement:

 

Current MA State Respiratory License

NBRC - RRT

BLS, ACLS & NRP 

 

Previous Work Experience: Strong background in Acute Care, Critical Care, Pulmonary Function Testing, Blood Gas Accreditation and Polysomnography, Rehab, and EEGs. Knowledge of Neonatal Respiratory Care preferred.
Other: Ability to travel between 3 sites as needed

 

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Operations

  • Plan, implement, and oversee departmental policies, procedures, and services
  • Ensure efficient and effective departmental operations
  • Provide strategic direction for all pulmonary service lines
  • Supervise and evaluate staff performance

Staff Management

  • Manage approximately 32 FTEs
  • Foster professional development and staff engagement
  • Support interdisciplinary collaboration

Quality & Compliance

  • Achieve departmental quality and budget goals
  • Ensure compliance with:
    • JCAHO standards
    • CAP standards
    • OSHA guidelines
    • CDC guidelines
    • DPH regulations
  • Drive performance improvement initiatives
  • Maintain patient safety and customer satisfaction standards

Financial & Resource Management

  • Manage departmental budgets
  • Optimize resource utilization
  • Ensure equipment maintenance and safety standards

Patient Care Coordination

  • Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams
  • Support high-quality cardiopulmonary services across all departments

 

 

Education/Training: Graduate of an Accredited School of Respiratory Care; Bachelors Degree preferred
