Description
Requirement:
Current MA State Respiratory License
NBRC - RRT
BLS, ACLS & NRP
Previous Work Experience: Strong background in Acute Care, Critical Care, Pulmonary Function Testing, Blood Gas Accreditation and Polysomnography, Rehab, and EEGs. Knowledge of Neonatal Respiratory Care preferred.
Other: Ability to travel between 3 sites as needed
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Operations
- Plan, implement, and oversee departmental policies, procedures, and services
- Ensure efficient and effective departmental operations
- Provide strategic direction for all pulmonary service lines
- Supervise and evaluate staff performance
Staff Management
- Manage approximately 32 FTEs
- Foster professional development and staff engagement
- Support interdisciplinary collaboration
Quality & Compliance
- Achieve departmental quality and budget goals
- Ensure compliance with:
- JCAHO standards
- CAP standards
- OSHA guidelines
- CDC guidelines
- DPH regulations
- Drive performance improvement initiatives
- Maintain patient safety and customer satisfaction standards
Financial & Resource Management
- Manage departmental budgets
- Optimize resource utilization
- Ensure equipment maintenance and safety standards
Patient Care Coordination
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams
- Support high-quality cardiopulmonary services across all departments
