Description
Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist specializing in CT imaging is needed for a night shift position in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves operating CT equipment to acquire diagnostic images in accordance with departmental protocols, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and collaborating with healthcare professionals across multiple clinics. The position requires experience with Siemens systems and level 1 trauma procedures, with responsibilities including patient preparation, image acquisition, contrast administration, and maintaining equipment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree or diploma from an approved school of Radiologic Technology, current Massachusetts State Radiologic Technologist license, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registration, and eligibility or certification in CT by ARRT or equivalent. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with at least one year in cross-sectional anatomy courses, is preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Siemens imaging systems and familiarity with Level 1 trauma protocols.
- Additional Information: The technologist will operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images, perform venipuncture for contrast administration under radiologist direction, and participate in quality assurance and research initiatives. Flexibility in shift coverage and ability to float across clinics and divisions is required. The role involves transporting patients, overseeing equipment readiness, and contributing to interdisciplinary communication and patient care.
