Job Summary:
A Connecticut (CT) Scan Technologist (Outpatient) is needed at a healthcare organization located in Reno, Nevada. The role involves producing diagnostic CT scans, assisting radiologists, and ensuring high-quality patient care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Reno, Nevada
- Shift: 3x12's, Saturday, Sunday, Rotating Week Day, No Call, 7:00 am - 7:30 pm
- Schedule: 36 hours per week minimum
- Required Qualifications: Valid American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) Registry in Radiography (R), ARRT (CT) certification, Nevada state license for Medical Radiography, current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire, minimum two years of clinical experience in the department, trauma experience, and travel experience.
- Additional Information: Travelers may be required to float to meet departmental needs up to their competency level. May work major holidays and pick up extra shifts during the schedule period. Candidates should be aware that the organization may call off shifts with 48 hours' notice for low census.
- Position Purpose: Under supervision of the CT Supervisor, produces diagnostic CT scans, assists radiologists, and maintains patient care standards. The role requires proficiency with CT imaging equipment and contrast administration, along with operational knowledge of departmental computer systems.
