Description

Job Summary:
Electrophysiology (EP) Technician position available in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role involves supporting EP laboratory procedures, including electrophysiology studies, catheter ablations, and device implantations. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position requires at least two years of experience working in EP labs.

Job Details:

  • Location: Charlotte, NC
  • Schedule: 06/13/2026, 10-hour shifts daily from 06:30 to 17:00, with a schedule cycle every 6 weeks.
  • Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R or equivalent, or RCIS certification; RN with BLS and ACLS (proficient in scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring cases); at least 2 years of EP Lab experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: RCES certification, experience monitoring cases.
  • Support within the Department: Traffic flow coordinator (manages scheduling and staffing), charge nurses, VAD team, RTs for emergencies, ECMO team, code team.
  • Technology/Equipment: EPIC electronic medical record system, Philips monitors, GE and Siemens X-ray equipment, Omnicell medication dispensing, hemodynamic monitoring, and relevant catheters and exchange wires.
  • Orientation: One week of facility and unit-specific onboarding, including departmental orientation, ACE modules, and EPIC testing.
  • Additional Information: Weekend call rotation may vary; travelers will be scheduled for at least one holiday during the contract. Scrub color will be provided; parking is free. The department emphasizes patient-centered care, interdisciplinary collaboration, technical excellence, safety, professionalism, adaptability, and a supportive environment.
  • Travel and Compliance: Must be willing to travel at least 50 miles outside of the home address, with a minimum of 2 years of EP Lab experience, and be proficient with required skills.
