Job Summary:
Vascular Sonographer position available in Mankato, Minnesota. The successful candidate will produce high-quality ultrasound images for interpretation by physicians that meet established departmental standards. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment. This position involves working primarily night shifts, with a transition to weekend overnight shifts towards the end of the assignment, and requires competence in various ultrasound imaging techniques.

Job Details:

• Location: Mankato, Minnesota
• Shift: Nights 4, 10-hour night shifts Monday-Thursday from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM; transition to overnight weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday) for the last several weeks of the contract. Training occurs from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited sonography or radiography program; ARDMS registered in Vascular Technology (RVT) or RDMS (Abdominal or OB/GYN) within 6 months of employment, both RVT and RDMS within 12 months, with a third certification (Abdominal or OB/GYN) within 18 months; BLS certified.
• Preferred Qualifications: Ultrasound Sonographer experience in general, OB/Gyn, and vascular including arterial Doppler.
• Additional Information: Candidates should demonstrate organization, efficiency, ability to work independently, effective communication skills, and adaptability to varied hours, shifts, and on-call responsibilities. Training will be provided as specified.
