Job Summary:
A Nuclear Medicine Technologist position is available in Denver, Colorado. This role involves performing nuclear medicine procedures to obtain diagnostic images in accordance with physicians' specifications. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Denver, Colorado
- Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification from NMTCB or ARRT/NM, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, and a minimum of 0 years of experience.
- Additional Information: The role requires expertise in nuclear medicine procedures, computer usage, patient positioning, operation of nuclear medicine imaging equipment, and patient education. Candidates must be able to handle multiple tasks, follow infection prevention policies, and practice radiation safety measures (ALARA). Experience in preparing and administering radioisotopes, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring quality image evaluation is essential.
