Job Summary
A position for a CT Technologist is available in New York, New York. This role involves performing computed tomography (CT) procedures in accordance with prescribed protocols, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images, and maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of work.

Job Details

Location: New York, NY
Shift: M-F, 12:00 AM 8:00 AM (Days shift), with a schedule of 7.5 hours per shift and a minimum of 37.5 hours per week
Required Qualifications: NYS Department of Health Radiologic Technologist license, ARRT certification in Radiography and CT, BLS certification, at least 1 year of CT experience, graduate of Radiologic Technologist program, current ARRT and CT certification, and at least one year of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications: Not specified
Additional Information: Performs quality control calibration checks on equipment, injects patients with radioactive material per physician orders, maintains and retrieves patient data, verifies radiopharmaceutical activity levels, and adheres to radiation safety guidelines following ALARA principles. Responsible for documentation, ordering radiopharmaceutical doses, verifying receipt, and assessing patient needs with appropriate judgment.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 12:00 AM 8:00 AM, 7.5 hours per shift, minimum 37.5 hours weekly
