Description

Job Summary:
Physical Therapist (PT) for inpatient rehabilitation located in Jacksonville, Florida. This position involves providing specialized physical therapy services to adult patients with conditions such as neurological injuries, orthopedic issues, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and cardiovascular or pulmonary diseases. The role requires a focus on functional interventions and collaborative patient care within a fast-paced rehabilitation environment.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Day shift; 8am to 4pm
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
  • Required Qualifications: Degree in physical therapy; Certification in Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT); 1 year of experience; location in the United States
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in acute, subacute, skilled nursing facility (SNF), or inpatient rehabilitation settings; propensity for functional interventions and experience with group/concurrent modes of therapy
  • Additional Information: This is an altered work week with schedule from Sunday to Thursday. The work environment is equipped with onsite advanced equipment including Smart Car, Vector, Lite Gait, Senaptec, dedicated transfer rooms, outdoor functional courtyard, and an EKSO device arriving in September. The candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed PT.
  • Patient Population: Adult patients with neuro, ortho, TBI, SCI, cardio-pulmonary conditions
  • Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Neuro, ortho, TBI, SCI, cardio-pulmonary
  • Scheduling & Submission Details: Report time is 8am; scrubs are green; parking is on-site at the side or back of the building; ask for Christine Hall upon arrival.
