Description

Job Summary:
The Thornton-based organization is seeking a qualified Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist for a night shift position. This role involves operating advanced imaging equipment, including in-house scanners and mobile units, to support diagnostic imaging services. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

  • Position: CT Technologist
  • Shift Schedule: Nights, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Thursday through Saturday
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
  • Required Qualifications: ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist with CT certification), BLS certification, a minimum of 6 months current CT Technologist experience, experience with GE imaging equipment, Meditech Electronic Medical Record system, and Centricity PACS experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Night shift experience with trauma level I or II cases, prior experience working with trauma patients, and experience specializing in CTA, ABD PELV, CAP PELV, and CAP procedures.
  • Unit Information: The unit maintains a staffing model of four technologists plus a supervisor daily, with reduced weekend staffing. The department features two in-house scanners (128 and 16 slices) and one mobile unit (64 slices).
  • Responsibilities: Performing quality scans, operating state-of-the-art imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining accurate documentation. The position requires a highly motivated, self-starting professional with critical thinking skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
