Description
Job Summary:
The CT Technologist position is located in Hackensack, New Jersey. This role involves performing computed tomography procedures and related techniques to produce detailed imaging for diagnostic purposes. The technologist will assist with interventional and therapeutic procedures, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging.
Job Details:
- Shift: 3:30 PM - 11:00 PM. Every third weekend.
- Schedule: 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program; High School diploma or equivalent; NJ Department of Environmental Protection (NJ DEP) Diagnostic Radiography License; ARRT Certified Radiologic Technologist (R.T.(R)); American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within three months of hire; minimum of 2 years of CT experience on Siemens Equipment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Six months CT experience preferred; knowledge of Epic and hospital HIS/RIS systems.
- Additional Information: Must be willing to cover one weekend of on-call obligations if needed. The role requires standing for at least 6 hours daily, lifting a minimum of 25 pounds, and pushing/pulling at least 50 pounds. The technologist will evaluate radiographs, guide patients through procedures, and maintain certifications, including achieving ARRT (CT) certification within the first year.
