Description
Job Summary:
A CT Technologist position is available in Hackensack, New Jersey. This clinical-allied role involves performing computerized tomography (CT) procedures, producing detailed sectional and three-dimensional images for interpretation, and assisting with interventional and therapeutic procedures. The position requires technical expertise in CT imaging, patient preparation, and safety protocols.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with every third weekend.
- Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program.
- Minimum of 2 years of CT experience on Siemens equipment.
- NJ Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Diagnostic Radiography License.
- ARRT Certified Radiologic Technologist (R.T.(R)) license.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within three months of hire date.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Epic electronic medical records system.
- Knowledge of the Hospital Information System (HIS) / Radiology Information System (RIS).
- Certifications:
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred.
- Physical Requirements:
- Lifts a minimum of 25 pounds, pushes and pulls a minimum of 50 pounds, and stands for at least 6 hours daily.
- Additional Information:
- Must be willing to cover one weekend of on-call obligations if needed.
- Must maintain Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits.
- Adheres to organizational standards of behavior, attendance, and punctuality.
- Maintains a minimum of 2 years of experience working with Siemens CT equipment.
- Ability to perform venipuncture, monitor patient condition during procedures, and provide patient-centered care.
