Description

Job Summary:
A CT Technologist position is available in Hackensack, New Jersey. This clinical-allied role involves performing computerized tomography (CT) procedures, producing detailed sectional and three-dimensional images for interpretation, and assisting with interventional and therapeutic procedures. The position requires technical expertise in CT imaging, patient preparation, and safety protocols.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with every third weekend.
  • Required Qualifications:
    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program.
    • Minimum of 2 years of CT experience on Siemens equipment.
    • NJ Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Diagnostic Radiography License.
    • ARRT Certified Radiologic Technologist (R.T.(R)) license.
    • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within three months of hire date.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with Epic electronic medical records system.
    • Knowledge of the Hospital Information System (HIS) / Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Certifications:
    • ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Lifts a minimum of 25 pounds, pushes and pulls a minimum of 50 pounds, and stands for at least 6 hours daily.
  • Additional Information:
    • Must be willing to cover one weekend of on-call obligations if needed.
    • Must maintain Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits.
    • Adheres to organizational standards of behavior, attendance, and punctuality.
    • Maintains a minimum of 2 years of experience working with Siemens CT equipment.
    • Ability to perform venipuncture, monitor patient condition during procedures, and provide patient-centered care.
