Description

Job Summary:
The Connecticut location is seeking a CT Technologist for an evening shift. This position involves performing computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures in a healthcare facility and requires flexibility with shift hours, including every fourth weekend and call rotation. The role emphasizes experience with adult patients, stroke centers, trauma centers, angiography, and various imaging modalities. This is an in-unit position where the technologist will be an integral part of the clinical team, providing diagnostic imaging services with a focus on quality and patient safety.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 8-hour evening shifts, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week, including every 4th weekend and call rotation.
  • Required Qualifications:
    • Certifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in CT Scan, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
    • Education: Minimum 2 years of radiologic technology experience, with experience in adult CT imaging, including CTA neuro, vascular, trauma, and orthopedic imaging.
    • Location: Candidates must be within 75 miles of the facility.
    • Experience: At least 2 years experience in CT imaging, including adult diagnostic procedures.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Epic EMR experience is preferred.
    • Prior travel experience is considered a plus but not required.
    • Experience with GE and Siemens CT scanners.
  • Additional Information:
    • All required time off must be specified at the time of submission.
    • EMR experience preferred but not mandatory.
    • The role requires performing imaging procedures across various departments, including emergency and inpatient settings, with specialization in neuro, vascular, trauma, and orthopedic imaging.
    • The technologist will work in a trauma center, stroke center, and angiography environment, contributing to urgent and routine patient care.
    • During the assignment, staff may be required to work additional hours as needed, and they are considered part of the unit's rotation pool.
