Job Summary:
The outpatient physical therapy position is located in Gainesville, Florida. This role involves providing outpatient therapy services to patients with a variety of needs. The position requires adherence to established clinical protocols and active participation in patient evaluations, therapeutic exercises, gait training, and patient education. Job Details:

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid licensure as a Licensed Physical Therapist, at least 1 year of outpatient therapy experience, and BLS certification are required.
• Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a Licensed Physical Therapist, 1 year of outpatient experience, BLS certification, and Florida state licensure.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous outpatient or travel therapy experience, ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, and independent functioning.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: This assignment is part of a new hospital and unit startup, with a start date of 08/10/2026. The unit has 30 beds, a staff of 22, and utilizes Meditech (Expanse) for documentation. The position involves day shift work only, with patient ratios of 7:1, and offers a variety of procedures including patient evaluations, ADLs, transfers, family/patient education, gait training, therapeutic exercises, and functional training.
