Job Summary
Edison, New Jersey The EEG Technologist Registered will perform standard and complex neurodiagnostic procedures for patients across inpatient and outpatient settings. This role involves providing technical assistance, documenting procedures accurately, and supporting departmental development within the Neurodiagnostic Laboratory and Epilepsy Unit. The position requires working during daytime hours with flexibility for weekends and holidays, including on-call duties.

Job Details

Schedule: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 5 days per week, totaling 40 hours. Weekends and holidays as needed. On-call required.
Required Qualifications: Valid AHA Basic Health Care Life Support (HCP) certification; eligible for ABRET registration; minimum of 1 year of experience in EEG, neurodiagnostic procedures in inpatient and outpatient settings; High School diploma or GED; familiarity with Natus and Nihon Kohden systems.
Preferred Qualifications: Associates Degree in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology or equivalent.
Patient Population: Emergency Medical Urgent Care, Pediatric, and Adult Patients
Skills: Ability to follow verbal instructions; effective verbal and written communication; working knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft or Google productivity suite.
