Job Summary
The Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position is located in Billings, Montana. The RT PEDS will provide advanced pediatric-level respiratory care within the facility, focusing on diagnosing, evaluating, treating, and managing cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities. This role involves acting as a resource to staff, executing clinical projects, and supporting departmental protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Respiratory Therapy certification, registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT), current license as Registered Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, applicable education from an accredited institution, and 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: N/A
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Performs diagnostic testing procedures including arterial gases, manages equipment, administers medications, documents patient care, participates in quality initiatives, and may be required to float to other departments or be on-call during scheduled shifts. The role emphasizes patient education, critical thinking, care planning, and adherence to departmental protocols.
