Description
Job Summary:
The location is seeking a CT Technologist for a night shift position. This role involves performing diagnostic computerized tomography (CT) procedures, including contrast administration, daily quality assurance, and patient care. The technologist will work under minimal supervision to assist physicians and ensure quality imaging for accurate diagnoses. The position requires the ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills appropriate to the patient population served.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Completion of a two-year Radiologic Technology training program approved by the American Medical Association (AMA); appropriate licenses including Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); Basic Life Support (BLS); at least one (1) year of experience as a licensed technologist; ability to perform specialized CT procedures; minimum of six (6) to twelve (12) months of Epic experience within the past year.

- Additional Information: The role includes performing various diagnostic CT procedures such as head, chest, spine, abdomen, pelvis, cardiac, vascular studies, bone density, and 3D reconstructions. Responsibilities also include patient preparation, contrast media administration, equipment maintenance, patient transportation, and emergency medical treatment under physician direction. The technologist will be expected to attend department meetings and maintain Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and CPR certification as required for licensure.
