Description

Job Summary:
A Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Respiratory Therapist based in Springfield, MA. This position involves providing specialized respiratory care to neonates in a high-acuity setting. The role requires clinical expertise and the ability to work effectively within a dynamic NICU environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Active Respiratory Therapist certification, associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field, Massachusetts state licensure, a minimum of 3 years of experience, and current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Preferred Qualifications: NICU experience and advanced certifications such as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
  • Additional Information: The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for assessing, implementing, and monitoring respiratory care plans for neonatal patients. Strict adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards is essential for success in this role.
