Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) Location: Not specified. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care for pediatric patients in the neonatal intensive care unit. The position requires delivering high-quality respiratory therapy services, adhering to established clinical guidelines, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

Position Description: Respiratory Therapist (RT PEDS) needed for pediatric respiratory care in the neonatal intensive care unit.
Certifications and Education: Georgia Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license, NBRC - Respiratory Care Therapist certification, and required American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certificates.
Schedule: Night shifts from 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m., with 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: At least 2 years of recent experience in respiratory therapy within the specialty, Georgia RRT license, NBRC - RRT credential, and current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications.
Additional Information: Must work 2 major holidays of the 3 (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Years Eve). No local candidates within 50 miles.
