Description

Job Summary:
The Interventional Radiology licensed vocational nurse (LVN) position is located in Burlingame, California. This role involves supporting the interventional radiology team by following clearly defined procedures to assist physicians, radiologists, and registered nurses with various procedures performed in the interventional radiology laboratory. The position requires integrating education, technical skills, and patient interaction to ensure safe and precise treatments under supervision, while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 10-hour shifts, with variable start times from 0700 to 1000, totaling 40 hours per week, scheduled every 3rd weekend, with on-call as needed.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid California license, ACLS certification, BLS certification, Fluoroscopy permit, two years of relevant experience in interventional radiology, and experience with accessing/managing ports, angiography, catheterizations, and other specified skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting interventional radiology procedures and familiarity with community hospital settings.
  • Additional Information: The role involves supporting a wide range of interventional procedures, including vascular access, embolizations, angiography, stent placements, and other minimally invasive interventions. Candidates must complete onboarding laboratories within 3-5 days of contract signing, and provide valid licensure and certifications uploaded within the past two weeks. Candidates are required to have at least 2 years of experience supporting interventional radiology services.
