Description
Job Summary:
Sacramento, California The organization is seeking a CT Technologist for a night shift at an acute care facility. This role involves operating advanced imaging equipment, including GE and Siemens CT and X-ray machines, with responsibilities that include providing high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes and supporting radiology staff. The incumbent must hold relevant certifications and licenses to perform the duties effectively.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 10-hour night shifts with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: BLS Certification, Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT), Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R), Fluoroscopy certification, California Rad Tech license. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with multi-modality imaging, but training will be provided if necessary.
- Float: Float to X-ray may be required.
- Additional Information: The candidate will need a hospital-issued badge and will be responsible for responding to call requirements, which may occur 3-4 days per month with a 30-minute response time. Parking options include off-site parking at the Scottish Rite Center with shuttle service; a hangtag must be obtained. The work environment uses Cerner charting system.
