Description

Job Summary:
The healthcare provider is seeking a CT Technologist for a weekend day shift position at a medical facility located in Birmingham, Alabama. This role involves performing advanced computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures, including CT-guided interventions, in a fast-paced environment that serves inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate independence, excellent patient care, and teamwork within the imaging department and other hospital units.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Weekend day shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7 a.m. 7 p.m.), minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT, 5 years of experience preferred working independently
  • Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience with the ability to work independently

  • Unit Information: The position supports a multi-bed department utilizing Siemens SOMATOM go.Top (256-slice) and Toshiba Aquilion Prime (160-slice) equipment

  • Must Have Skills/Experience: Ability to perform CT-guided procedures
  • Preferred Skillset/Experience: Extensive experience of 5 years or more, capable of functioning independently
  • Type of Patients on Unit: Inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patients
  • Personality Fit: Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, excellent patient care, and patient throughput focused
  • Dress Code: Scrubs, Gray; unacceptable attire includes any clothing outside of scrubs
