Job Summary:
The CT Technologist position is located in Brighton, Colorado. This role involves performing a variety of computed tomography (CT) procedures utilizing ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. The position requires independence, technical proficiency, and attention to detail to produce high-quality imaging and ensure patient safety.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evening shifts, 12 hours per day, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Associate degree; valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration - Radiography (R); licensure in the state of practice as applicable; one (1) year of CT experience in a hospital setting or, if not specified, a minimum of 0.0 years of experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Certified Computed Tomography Technologist (ARRT - R)(CT); Fluoroscopy certification in the state of Colorado; two (2) years of CT experience and two (2) years of healthcare setting experience
• Additional Information: The CT Technologist is responsible for understanding and operating CT equipment and related information systems, adhering to safety protocols and department procedures, providing patient education, and maintaining accurate records. The role includes assisting and instructing students and other technologists, responding to emergent patient situations, and staying updated with technological advancements in CT imaging.
