Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Technologist position available in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This per diem role involves working days from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a schedule of 5 days per week. The department primarily handles a variety of interventional and diagnostic procedures in a small community hospital setting, with responsibilities including patient setup, aiding physicians with procedures, and operating specialized imaging equipment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); at least 2 years of radiology technology experience; ability to set up tables and scrub with physicians; proficiency in using Epic to look up patients; familiarity with Siemens Artis Zee and GE Ultrasound machines; valid certification in radiologic technology or related field.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with interventional radiology procedures and operating interventional imaging equipment.
• Additional Information: Small hospital environment with less than 20 patients daily; team typically includes 2-3 radiologic technologists and 3-4 registered nurses per shift. Must be comfortable working in a facility that primarily operates on an on-call basis outside of normal departmental hours. Call may require staying late but seldom overnight or on weekends. Holidays are only by call; the department itself remains closed during these times.
