Description
Job Summary:
The mammographer position is based in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves performing screening and diagnostic mammograms, as well as mammo-guided procedures in a fast-paced imaging environment. The candidate will be responsible for handling upright stereotactic and prone table biopsies, utilizing advanced equipment, and providing high-quality patient care. A minimum of two years of diagnostic breast imaging experience is required.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm on weekdays, with flexibility on weekdays worked. Saturdays are scheduled for screening mammography only, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT certification, mammography certification, BLS-AHA certification, 2 years of diagnostic breast imaging experience at an imaging center, 1 year of experience using McKession PACS image archive storage system, and experience with EPIC electronic medical record system.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with upright stereotactic biopsy and prone table biopsy procedures is strongly preferred.
- Additional Information: Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and seek supervisory assistance as needed. Candidates must be separated from the employer for at least 6 months to be considered. Local candidates are not eligible.
