Job Summary:
A Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Respiratory Therapist position is available in Springfield, Massachusetts. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care for neonatal patients in a high-acuity environment. The ideal candidate will work days and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid respiratory therapist license; certification in neonatal and pediatric respiratory care; one or more years of experience in neonatal intensive care or similar environment; located within a reasonable distance from Springfield, MA.
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications such as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM); experience working with neonates in a Level III or Level IV NICU setting.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The respiratory therapist will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing respiratory care for neonatal patients in the NICU setting, following established protocols and standards of care.
