Job Summary:
The location is in Burlingame, California. This Radiologic Technologist (Computed Tomography) position involves performing routine and specialized computerized tomography procedures to produce high-quality images that assist healthcare providers in diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of patients. The role requires working independently with sound judgment and clinical skills to ensure safe, precise, and timely procedures while maintaining excellent patient care and adhering to all relevant regulations.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with shift hours from 11:30 AM to 12:00 AM, Thursday through Saturday.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Radiologic Technology with certification in Computed Tomography (CT), valid California State License, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, California venipuncture licensure, and at least 1 year of experience.
- Experience with patient assessment, charting systems, and working in a hospital or similar setting is preferred.
- Additional details: No float rotation, no on-call or weekend coverage required, and the candidate must complete compliance modules within 3-5 days of contract signing.
- Additional Information: The role involves working with various patient age groups, managing daily patient census, and supporting interdisciplinary care teams. Successful candidates will demonstrate competence in CT imaging procedures and comply with all safety and privacy policies.
