Job Summary:

Pharmacist Inpatient (PHARM IP) in an acute care setting, located in a healthcare facility. The role involves providing inpatient pharmacy services across various departments including ICU, IMC, ED, Med-Surg, and OR (cardiothoracic). The pharmacist is responsible for medication dispensing, dosing calculations, and ensuring compliance with USP 797 standards, with minimal chemotherapy handling. This position supports inpatient staffing needs and requires understanding of complex medication protocols to ensure patient safety and optimal medication management.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. The assignment runs from 09/14/2026 to 12/14/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS (American Heart Association) and Wisconsin pharmacy license. Experience with inpatient staffing, vancomycin AUC dosing, aminoglycosides dosing, heparin dosing/monitoring, and TPN management is required. Candidates must have at least 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience. Local candidates within 80 miles are preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: BCPS certification is preferred.
• Additional Information: The pharmacy uses the Omnicell medication dispensing system. The department offers a 2-3 week orientation with typical orientation modules plus department-specific training. All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility. The department operates with flexible weekend coverage approximately every third or fourth weekend and observes holidays. No on-call requirement is specified. Dress code is scrubs, clean and professional or business casual.
