Description
Job Summary:
The Cardiovascular Technician specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) in the radiology unit is responsible for performing cardiac computed tomography scans within an acute care setting. The position involves working during night shifts from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays. The role includes providing specialized imaging services in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM; 7.5 hours per shift, with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification as a CT Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography (CT), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Additional Information: The position involves working in an acute care environment, with responsibilities including performing cardiac CT scans, floating to radiology as needed, and charting in the electronic medical record system. The assignment begins on August 24, 2026, and concludes on November 23, 2026. The role does not require a BSN and allows for a license to be submitted instead of a current license.
