Description
Job Summary:
The MRI Technologist position located in Philadelphia involves performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) studies in accordance with established protocols. This role requires operating the MRI scanner to produce high-quality images, preparing the scan environment, positioning patients, and maintaining communication throughout procedures. The ideal candidate holds an American Registry of Radiologists (ARRT) Magnetic Resonance (MR) certification within two years of hire.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent; completion of an approved American Medical Association (AMA) Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program; 1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist; 1 year experience in CT or MRI; Licenses: Radiologic Technologist (R), Magnetic Resonance (MR); Basic Life Support certification
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified
- Float: Float rotation may be required is not expected for this role
