Description
Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) in a clinical outpatient setting located in a healthcare facility. This position involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and coordinating therapy services to promote optimal patient recovery. The role supports new graduates and provides an opportunity to gain valuable outpatient experience. The assignment duration is approximately three months, with an expected schedule of five days per week.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, from 09/07/2026 to 12/07/2026
- Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school; CPR Certification; current licensure in the state where work will be performed; 0 years minimum experience; ability to evaluate and treat outpatient patients; and knowledge of clinical reasoning and documentation standards.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous clinical experience in outpatient settings; successful completion of a prior assignment with the agency; successful prior assignment with the organization.
- Additional Information: The therapist will be responsible for completing comprehensive patient evaluations, developing treatment plans, documenting care in medical records, ensuring adherence to physician orders and insurance protocols, and participating in student training and professional development activities. Adherence to organizational performance improvement methodologies and maintaining licensure in good standing are essential. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and professional behavior aligned with the organizations mission and core values.
