Description
Job Summary:
The CT Technologist position is based in a healthcare facility employing advanced imaging technology. The role involves preparing, setting up, and operating Philips Iqon CT scanners to produce diagnostic quality images in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols. The incumbent will verify patient identity, explain procedures, operate equipment safely, and ensure all images are correctly labeled and transmitted to the picture archiving and communication system (PACS). This position requires a commitment to patient care, safety, and adherence to facility policies.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 32 hours weekly with the following rotations: Week 1: Sunday 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM, Monday 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Friday 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM; Week 2: Monday 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Friday 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Saturday 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Radiography and Computed Tomography (ARRT (R), (T), or (N) registration), applicable state licensure(s), and a minimum of 0 years of experience are required.
- Additional Information: The role involves maintaining proper order in the department, ensuring compliance with all operational and safety procedures, and staying current with outpatient departmental policies. The candidate must be flexible and adaptable to departmental needs.
