Description

Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Outpatient (OT OP) position located in an outpatient setting. The role involves evaluating and developing treatment plans for patients, with an emphasis on hand therapy, splint making, and managing a full hand caseload. The position is scheduled for daytime shifts, offering a consistent work schedule across its duration.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Degree in Occupational Therapy from an Accredited School; 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience; CPR Certification; active applicable license for the state where work will be performed; no minimum years of experience specified
  • Preferred Qualifications: Hand experience and comfort making splints; full hand caseload experience; previous assignment with the organization or with the staffing agency is highly desired
  • Float: Float rotation may be required
  • Additional Information: Responsible for comprehensive patient evaluations, developing and modifying treatment plans, documenting in medical records, and participating in student programs. Maintains professionalism and complies with state practice acts and licensing requirements. Demonstrates safety awareness and adheres to organizational performance improvement initiatives.
