Job Summary
Inpatient Physical Therapist (PT IP) This position is located within a healthcare facility providing acute rehabilitation services. The role involves delivering specialized physical therapy care to adult and geriatric patients with neurological conditions such as CVA, SCI, and TBI. The therapist will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to implement patient-centered treatment plans and improve functional outcomes.
Job Details
- Certifications Required: CA Physical Therapist License, BLS
- Education: No specific minimum degree requirement, but valid CA Physical Therapist license and BLS certification are mandatory
- Location Requirements: Must hold a valid CA State License and Nursys verification uploaded within the last two weeks
- Years of Experience: At least 1 year of hospital acute care or inpatient acute rehab experience required; 2 years preferred
- Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 9:30 AM start time (flexible to 9:00 AM if needed), 8 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week
- Responsibilities: Deliver inpatient physical therapy focused on neuro patients, utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, assist with patient assessments, and collaborate with team members for patient care planning
- Additional Information: Experience with neuro patient population required; experience with charting system Epic preferred; must have experience with inpatient acute rehabilitation physical therapy and neuro patients.
