Job Summary
MRI Technologist position available in the MRI specialty at a healthcare facility in Philadelphia, PA. This role involves performing MRI studies following established protocols, operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images, and maintaining communication with patients throughout the procedure.
Job Details
- Shift Time: Days
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Sunday, with every other Saturday and Sunday, totaling 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent; Non-Degree Program from an approved American Medical Association Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program; 1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist; 1 year experience in CT or MRI; ARRT MRI certification required within 2 years from date of hire; ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: None listed.
- Responsibilities include performing MRI scans following set protocols, operating MRI scanners, preparing the scan room and equipment, positioning patients and coils, and maintaining communication throughout the process.
- Certification requirements must be obtained within 2 years of employment.
