CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist Location unspecified. This role involves performing routine and specialized CT procedures within a healthcare facility to produce high-quality diagnostic images. The technologist works independently, applying clinical skills and sound judgment to ensure safe and accurate procedures, contributing to effective patient diagnosis and care.

Job Details

• Position Description: Performs computerized tomography procedures for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention efforts in a healthcare setting. Ensures image quality and timely delivery while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
• Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: ARRT CT certification, BLS (AHA), CA CRT, CA Fluoro Certification, 2 years of relevant experience, valid CA State License.
• Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts during days, starting at 12:00 PM, with shifts running from 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM every other weekend. No on-call requirements; callback opportunities are voluntary.
• Additional Responsibilities: Includes patient assessment, monitoring, preparation and administration of contrast media, and operating imaging equipment such as GE and Siemens.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma patients, stroke protocol (CTA Head and Perfusion studies), chest and head imaging, and working with PACS systems.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates should be prepared to provide work history verification for the past 7 years, recent Nursys license upload, relevant certifications, and references within the last year.
