Job Summary
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Technologist is based in the cardiovascular specialty within an acute care setting. This role involves supporting interventional radiology or cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care during minimally invasive cardiac procedures.
Job Details
- Position Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
- Location: The healthcare providers facility in an acute care environment
- Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts with 1-hour lunch, totaling 35 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: New York State License as an X-ray Technologist, certification to inject per section 89.40 of part 89, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification or American Registry Radiologic Technologist (ARRT Registered), BLS and ACLS Certification (American Heart Association), Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology, Cardiovascular credentialing (CCI) (ARRT) or (RCIS), minimum of 2 years experience as a Cardiac Cath Tech or X-ray Technologist, with at least 1 year of experience in an Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Catheterization Suite.
