Job Summary
Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist in the Cardiology specialty is based in a healthcare setting providing technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures. This role involves assisting physicians with radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring patient safety under supervision.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; Registered ARRT or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist (RCIS) within 18 months of hire; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification endorsed by the American Heart Association; current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification endorsed by the American Heart Association; Fluoroscopy Certification; Radiation badges supply required
• Preferred Qualifications: Associates degree in relevant field; two (2) years of experience in Cardiology/Cath Lab preferred
• Responsibilities: Provide technical and patient care support during cardiovascular procedures; educate patients and families about procedures and post-procedure care; maintain sterile conditions, manage supplies, and assist in maintaining unit cleanliness; complete accurate documentation; participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety procedures.
