Job Summary
The MRI Technologist position is located in the Philadelphia, PA area. This role involves performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures according to established protocols, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging for patients ranging from infants to adults. The technologist will maintain accurate positioning and techniques while providing safe, compassionate care in a clinical environment.
Job Details
- Position: MRI Technologist
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent; Non Degree Program from an approved American Medical Association Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program required
- Experience: 1 year of relevant general experience required
- Licenses: Registered Technologist (R) and MRI certification required
- Certifications: Basic Life Support required
- Schedule: Evenings shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week
- Start Date: 09/21/2026
- End Date: 12/20/2026
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Responsibilities: Demonstrate an understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, contrast agents, MRI safety, and medical terminology; prepare and administer contrast agents as directed by the radiologist; maintain patient safety and comfort; use critical thinking and ethical judgment in performing duties; participate in continuing education to improve patient care and technical skills.
