Job Summary
CT Technologist Night Shift Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center. Located in an environment that supports both emergency and outpatient imaging services, this role involves performing computed tomography (CT) scans on a diverse patient population, including trauma, inpatient, outpatient, and research patients. The technologist will work under the direction of the Medical Director, Section Head, Clinical Specialist, Manager, and Radiologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic images ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Job Details

• Position Description: The computed tomography (CT) scan technologist performs technical procedures and assists in the clinical evaluation and care of patients in a fast-paced Level I trauma and academic medical center. Responsibilities include utilizing modality-specific skills to create diagnostic images, supporting teaching and learning, and performing scans on outpatient, inpatient, research, and specialized patients.
• Required Qualifications: Graduation from an approved two-year American Medical Association (AMA) Radiologic Technology School, high school diploma or equivalent, current New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography, and current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification. Experience requirement: 0 years minimum.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: This role involves performing CT scans on trauma and emergency patients, outpatients, inpatients, and research subjects, with responsibilities including adherence to radiation safety measures as per New York State Department of Health regulations.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must meet all qualification criteria and be available for the specified start and end dates, from 10/05/2026 to 01/02/2027.
