The CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) is based in the diagnostics department within a healthcare facility. This role involves performing computed tomography procedures accurately and efficiently, ensuring high-quality imaging services for patients. The position requires adherence to radiation safety standards and effective communication with medical staff.

Job Details

• Position Description: The CT Technologist will ensure that radiology procedures, equipment, and staff are administered in a manner that is accurate, timely, responsive, and reliable. Responsibilities include maintaining patient confidentiality, complying with incident reporting policies, performing CT procedures as requested by referring physicians, practicing adequate radiation safety, participating in Radiology Management System functions, providing patient education, and maintaining effective communication with referring physicians and radiologist staff.
• Required Qualifications: ARRT (CT) certification, NYS Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License with Injection Registered, BLS certification, experience with GE X-ray, Siemens CT, and fluoroscopy.
• Schedule: Nights, 36 hours per week, Friday through Sunday, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
