Job Summary:
The CT Technologist position is located in a diagnostic radiology department within a healthcare facility. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, performing computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures on inpatient and outpatient patients across various settings, including operating rooms and emergency rooms. The position requires a self-starter able to adapt quickly and work efficiently within a well-staffed team.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 10-hour days, working every Friday through Sunday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. The specific shift times will be provided by the hospital upon candidate submission.
• Required Qualifications: Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist, ARRT certification in Radiography, BLS (American Heart Association), COVID vaccination, California state licensure, and a minimum of 2 years of experience performing CT procedures.
• Preferred Qualifications: Level II Trauma Experience preferred but not required.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and be able to handle C-arm operations in the operating room. The environment includes working with well-staffed teams and night shifts may pose more challenges due to fewer resources. Experience with Cerner electronic charting system and Philips iPatient 64 equipment is required. Candidates should be comfortable working in urgent care and emergency settings, with a focus on efficiency and independence.
