Description
Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position in a healthcare facility. The role involves providing respiratory therapy services in a pediatric and adult patient population, working on night shifts with a focus on acute patient care and emergency response. The position requires flexibility to float between units and adherence to special procedural and clinical requirements.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications include ACLS*, BLS, PALS*; Washington state license; at least 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist Registered; working in a hospital or similar healthcare setting.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric patient care, emergency procedures, and working in a Level II Trauma Center or similar acute care environment.
- Float: Float rotation may be required between units.
- Additional Information: The role involves floor care, ER, code response, rapid response, ventilator management, and other specialty procedures. Candidates should be prepared to work a schedule that includes holiday shifts, and must have a valid license in hand at submission. References covering the last three years are required.
