Description

Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist in a medical facility setting. This role involves providing specialized technologist support for cardiovascular procedures, including interventional cardiology, neurology, radiology, and electrophysiology. The position is scheduled for day shift with an on-call rotation, requiring the candidate to assist with various diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Job Details:

Schedule: Day Shift, 8 hours shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited radiology program; IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation; ARRT(R) certification; ARRT(VI) or ARRT(CI) certification; BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications; 1+ year of relevant experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center and familiarity with cardiovascular intervention procedures
Additional Information: Verify patient identity and informed consent; prepare and handle sterile supplies and medications; monitor vital signs and prepare the patient for procedures; operate imaging and contrast injection equipment; ensure radiation safety and document procedural data; assist with vascular access, imaging protocols, and post-procedural patient care. Practical instruction for students and partners is also included.
