Description
Job Summary:
The position of CT Technologist is located in an acute care setting during the night shift. This role involves performing computed tomography (CT) scans in a fast-paced environment, primarily catering to ER patients, virtual colonography, and gated procedures. The technologist will operate Siemens Sensation 64 and GE Light Speed scanners, with responsibilities including routine patient positioning, image acquisition, and adherence to safety protocols.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, with work scheduled into rotation.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), BLS Certification, Crisis Protocol Approved, Fluoro; minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting; valid license to submit; location requirements not specified.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Siemens and GE scanners, familiarity with Cerner and McKesson PACS, and prior work in a hospital or similar acute care environment.
- Float: Float rotation may be required; floor-specific orientation typically completed in 3-4 shifts.
- Additional Information: The radiology team operates with a radiologist available outside of 24/7 coverage, utilizing Nighthawk for night shift support. The department handles various common diagnoses including ER patients and gated procedures, with busy evening shifts.
