Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT) Pediatric (PEDS) position available in a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The role involves providing specialized respiratory care for neonatal and pediatric patients, utilizing advanced equipment and procedures. This position offers an opportunity to work within a state-of-the-art facility, supporting a cohesive and experienced team committed to exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Respiratory Therapy credentials, ACLS, PALS, BLS, NRP certifications, Level 3 NICU skills, and at least 1 year of acute care experience including Med Surg, Emergency Room, and ICU.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing Bipaps, ventilators, and Heated High Flow units; proficiency in intubations and bedside bronchoscopies; strong time management skills under heavy workloads.
• Additional Information: The unit has 160 beds with 32 staff members, serving a diverse patient population. Candidates should be independent, self-motivated, and willing to work in a high-acuity Level 3 NICU environment. The hospital features new technology, a supportive staff, and a collaborative physicians' team.
