Job Summary
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) is sought for a position at a healthcare facility located in the area. The role involves performing advanced CT procedures, producing sectional and three-dimensional images, and assisting with interventional and therapeutic imaging techniques. The technologist will be responsible for ensuring patient safety, proper preparation, and accurate imaging to support quality patient care.

Job Details

• Schedule: Wednesday through Saturday, 9:30 PM 8:00 AM, 4 days per week, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent, graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program, NJ Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Diagnostic Radiography License, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certified R.T.(R) license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, at least 2 years of experience in CT procedures, knowledge of anatomy and physiology, radiological positioning, PACS system, and contrast media, maintaining Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits, team members must achieve ARRT (CT) certification within twelve months following their hire date, and BLS certification within three months of hire.
• Preferred Qualifications: Five or more years of CT experience, knowledge of Epic and hospital Health Information System/ Radiology Information System (HIS/RIS) systems, and ARRT certified R.T. (CT) license.
• Additional Information: The candidate is expected to perform complex CT procedures, review patient clinical history, prepare and review contrast questionnaires, administer contrast media, verify prescriptions and insurance authorizations, review outside studies, and provide clear patient instructions. Responsibilities also include performing venipuncture, monitoring patient conditions, and adhering to safety and operational policies. The role may require overtime, holiday, and weekend shifts, as well as on-call duties per department policy. The candidate must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs., push and pull at least 50 lbs., and stand for a minimum of 6 hours per day.
