Job Summary:
Physical Therapist (Physical Therapist Inpatient) in an inpatient setting in a healthcare environment. This role involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate patient recovery and discharge planning. The position requires adherence to professional standards and organizational values, with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday through Friday; shifts are 8 hours each, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification prior to first shift, and a minimum of 2 years of inpatient rehabilitation experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Inpatient rehabilitation experience is highly preferred.
- Additional Information: Responsible for completing comprehensive patient evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, managing caseloads efficiently, and ensuring accurate, timely documentation. Participates in student clinical education and professional development activities. Maintains compliance with state and federal regulations, professional licensing requirements, and organizational performance improvement initiatives. Demonstrates clinical reasoning, flexibility, and professionalism in all aspects of the role.
