Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position is located in a high-acuity acute care setting within the cath lab and interventional radiology suites. This role involves providing specialized technical support for cardiac procedures including PCI, device implantation, and adult coronary caths. The candidate will work in a team-oriented environment, supporting patient care activities, ensuring procedural accuracy, and maintaining compliance with healthcare standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Shift hours are 12 hours, Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM 10:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Radiologic Technologist with ARRT registration; WV license; minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or related setting; BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Acist injector and experience with intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) and intracoronary ultrasound (IVUS); knowledge of EPIC and Dynamics charting systems.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have experience with IABP and IVUS. The position involves working in an environment with adult cardiac cases including PCI, device implantation, and adult cath procedures. The team utilizes hardwired telephoner systems, and scrub colors are navy blue for nurses and burgundy for radiologic technologists. Floating to non-invasive cardiovascular areas may be required at times.
