Description
Job Summary:
The CT Technologist position is located in Leesburg. This role involves working in a hospital imaging department that performs radiology, computed tomography (CT), ultrasound (US), and mammography procedures. The position requires providing high-quality imaging services while adhering to safety and clinical policies, and maintaining excellent patient care standards during the night shift.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certified as ARRT (Registration) in Radiography, Computed Tomography (CT), and Mammography; Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS); current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; at least 1 year of experience in a similar setting or a minimum of 0 years if applicable
- Preferred Qualifications: Advanced skills in performing procedures on radiology, CT, ultrasound, and mammography; experience with GE, Hologic, and other imaging equipment; familiarity with documentation systems such as Expanse, Powerscribe, and Sectra
- Additional Information: The role requires floating between hospital and imaging center departments as needed, working with a team utilizing GE and Hologic equipment, and following unit-specific policies and guidelines. Candidates should demonstrate professionalism in dress code, and experience with hospital protocols and patient safety procedures is preferred.
